Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian is seeking a Pathologist with subspecialty training in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology to join the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence (COE) in an academic clinical track. The candidate will provide surgical pathology sign-outs and contribute to translational research and program development.

Qualifications

• M.D./DO and Board certified in Anatomic Pathology with specialty training and academic interest in thoracic pathology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
• A good record of and commitment to scholarly activities and publications.

Responsibilities

• Sign out of surgical pathology cases, as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and Pathology residents.
• Represent the Dept. nationally and internationally.
• Participate in research initiatives, as needed.
• Be aligned, participate and work towards deliverance of the mission and goals of the Dept.
• Work closely with the Head and Neck COE Director related to service roles and participation in the COE Pathology service.
