UPMC is recruiting for a Pathologist in the Head and Neck Pathology Center of Excellence. The position is in the academic clinical track, with subspecialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck Surgical Pathology.

Based at UPMC Presbyterian-Shadyside Hospitals, the role includes leadership in translational pathology and collaboration with imaging, molecular, and AI initiatives. The successful candidate will participate in a robust COE with four pathologists, teaching fellows and

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required with Board certification in Anatomic Pathology.
• Specialty training and academic interest in Head and Neck Pathology required.
• Eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Sign out surgical pathology cases as needed.
• Mentor and teach Head and Neck Pathology fellows and residents.
• Lead and participate in research initiatives and translational pathology projects.
• Represent the Dept. in COE meetings and national/international activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to develop diagnostic and research initiatives.
