Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and support store operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, handle register duties, and coordinate scheduling and breaks in line with policy.

You’ll also participate in hiring and training while maintaining accuracy and security at the front end. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, a friendly, proactive attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a busy

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Must be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have outgoing, friendly behavior and the ability to interact with customers as a role model.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers; assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support at the registers; address customer issues.
• Schedule breaks and ensure compliance with company policy and state requirements.
• Hire and train new cashiers and take disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain cash register accuracy and assist with loss prevention.
