Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a fast-paced frontline team and deliver exceptional customer service in a retail environment.

You will direct cashiers and courtesy clerks, manage scheduling and breaks, and assist with hiring and training to uphold Sprouts standards. The role emphasizes leadership, accuracy with cash handling, and a friendly customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must interact with customers as a role model and have strong numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Address customer service issues at the register and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training of new cashiers and manage disciplinary actions.
