Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced team and deliver outstanding customer service in a neighborhood market setting. You will supervise cashiers, guide operations at the front end, and help ensure smooth store performance.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff training, shift scheduling, and maintaining accuracy in cash handling while upholding store standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong math, cash handling, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Assist customers with issues at the register and monitor cash register supply levels.
• Schedule and oversee meal and rest breaks per policy and state requirements.
• Aid in hiring and training new cashiers and take disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain security visibility and loss prevention at exits.
