Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with daily operations. You will lead at the registers, ensure outstanding customer service, and support training and scheduling to maintain store standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment. Benefits and DailyPay options are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multi-task, and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push/pull carts as required.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure excellent customer service by visiting registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer issues at the register and provide support.
• Schedule store sweeps and maintain cash register supplies and cleanliness.
• Monitor exit doors for security and loss prevention.
• Oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
