Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a HS diploma or GED and 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, and able to interact with customers as a role model.
• Proficient with front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by guiding cashiers and addressing register issues.
• Assist with customer assistance issues at the register and in-aisle.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and taking disciplinary actions.
