Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, guide staff at registers, and help resolve customer issues at the front end.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 with a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years cashiering experience, and leadership training. Flexible schedule, opportunity for growth, and a path to develop a fast-paced, customer-focused team are offered.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age; possess a high school diploma or GED, and 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience supplemented with leadership training.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and customer interaction as a role model.
• Ability to operate front end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Good communication skills; ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitious tasks, multitask, prioritize and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs. horizontally/vertically; move carts up to 35 lbs. for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers; cash handling and math skills.
• Reading, writing and counting proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by proactively visiting registers and guiding Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks.
• Assist with customer service issues at the register.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain visibility of exit doors for security and loss prevention.
