Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations. You will ensure excellent customer service, oversee scheduling, and support training and development for staff.

The role requires 18+ years old with a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training. The position emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and strong cash-handling skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old; HS diploma or GED; 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong communication, teamwork and willingness to take direction.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and move carts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and guide Cashiers.
• Assist at the register with customer issues.
• Schedule and oversee breaks, ensuring policy and state compliance.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and disciplinary actions.
