Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced cashing team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with store operations, and help train new staff while ensuring accurate cash handling and a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes leadership in a dynamic retail environment, flexible scheduling, and collaboration with store management to maintain high service standards and store appearance.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Be dependable with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and role model for customers.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment (register, calculator, scanner).

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide proactive customer service, direct Cashiers and Courtesy Clerks at registers.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions.
• Ensure security and cleanliness, including restrooms and parking lot areas.
• Support fast-paced operations and respond to customer issues at the register.
