Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. seeks a Head Cashier to supervise cashiers and support store operations while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will lead, train, and schedule staff, ensure proper register procedures, and assist with disciplinary actions as needed.

The role requires 18+, a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years cashiering with leadership training, and the ability to multi-task and lift up to 30 lbs. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 18+ with HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and strong customer interaction skills.
• Operate front end equipment: register, calculator and scanner.
• Strong communication, able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, multi-task and stay organized.
• Lift/carry up to 30 lbs. and push/pull carts as needed.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks.
• Address customer issues at the register and ensure service excellence.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state law.
