Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Head Cashier to lead a fast-paced cashier team and ensure excellent customer service. You will supervise cashiers, assist with operations, and help hire/train staff while maintaining schedules and breaks per company and state rules.

The role requires 18+ years, a HS diploma or GED, and 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training, plus strong communication and math skills for cash handling.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience with leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude and ability to be a role model for customers.
• Proficient in cash handling, math, and operating front-end equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Proactively visit registers to ensure excellent customer service and provide direction.
• Assist in hiring and training new Cashiers and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Schedule and oversee meal/rest breaks in line with policy and state requirements.
