Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market seeks a Head Cashier to supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations. You will ensure outstanding customer service, oversee checkout processes, and support scheduling and training to maintain efficiency.

The role requires 18+ with a HS diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience, plus leadership training. A flexible schedule and strong math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to model professional behavior.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Strong math and cash-handling skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations.
• Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks at registers.
• Schedule and monitor meal and rest breaks per policy and state law.
• Aid in hiring/training new cashiers and discipline as needed.
• Maintain security and cleanliness around registers and exits.
