Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of cashiering experience plus leadership training.
• Flexible schedule required; nights, weekends and holidays as business needs change.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor; strong math, cash handling and numerical proficiency.
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner; read and write.
• Must be able to multi-task, stay organized and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with operational issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service by directing and supporting cashiers and clerks.
• Schedule and oversee breaks in compliance with policy and state requirements.
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Maintain register area cleanliness and security practices.
