Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience may be acceptable.
• 1 year retail cashier experience.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in line with Lowe's policies.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Answer questions and guide customers through projects.
• Share product and warranty information related to Lowe's programs.
• Coach and train associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
• Process sales, returns, and refunds at the register per guidelines.
• Handle cash and ensure accurate cash drawer management.
• Tag removal, product verification, and bagging for customers.
• Support line vesting and adjust registers for coverage.
• Prepare register area at shift start/end and stock supplies.
• Inspect returned items for damages.
• Enter customer orders, print tickets, verify receipts, sign loading tickets.
• Lookup product information and price match against competitors.
• Document items used in the store in the use list.
• Perform daily reconciliation duties as assigned.
• Monitor cash levels and ensure thresholds are met.
• Monitor store entrances for activity and assist customers or staff.
• Detect shoplifting signals and report to management/Asset Protection.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards (Zone Recovery).
• Maintain a safe work environment; conduct safety checks.
• Operate store equipment as needed for role/department.
• Other duties as assigned.
