• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's policies and programs
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Walks customers through projects and answers questions while guiding them to store areas
• Communicates information about stock, special order merchandise, and warranty information
• Coaches and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities
• Operates cash register to process sales, returns, and refunds per guidelines
• Ensures accurate monetary transactions and change for register activities
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Enters and verifies customer orders and loading tickets
• Performs price checks and price matching as needed
• Maintains store use lists and completes daily cash reconciliation
