Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Business Sales Consultant, HCM in San Diego, CA to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities for payroll, HR tech, benefits, and related workforce management services. You’ll own the full sales cycle, build broker/channel partnerships, and drive monthly quotas with travel as needed.

This is a high-ownership role requiring prospecting, compelling presentations, and strong negotiation skills to deliver client-focused HCM solutions and services.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of HCM sales experience in a target-driven environment.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to build referral relationships with brokers and partners.
• Proven prospecting and networking abilities.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities in HCM within the territory.
• Maintain referral relationships with brokers and partners.
• Execute targeted prospecting strategies to access decision makers.
• Lead discovery meetings to understand client needs.
• Present tailored HCM solutions and pricing options.
• Negotiate terms and coordinate implementation transition.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead to close and forecast revenue.
• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline and activity logs.
• Travel domestically for meetings and events.
