Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a Business Sales Consultant, HCM for the Midwest region. You will identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities for payroll, HR tech, benefits, and workforce management services, managing the full sales cycle from outreach to close.

In this role you will leverage referrals, networking, and self-prospecting to access key decision makers, negotiate pricing and terms, and coordinate implementation with internal teams. Frequent travel is required.

Qualifications

• More than two years of HCM sales experience required.
• Experience with payroll, PEO, HR technology, or benefits preferred.
• Previous experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business opportunities within designated territory for HCM solutions.
• Build and maintain referral relationships with brokers, channel partners, and other strategic partners.
• Execute targeted prospecting strategies to access key decision makers.
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand business needs and decision criteria.
• Present HCM solutions, pricing, and implementation expectations to clients.
• Prepare proposals, pricing options, and client presentations to communicate value.
• Negotiate pricing, scope, and terms in partnership with sales leadership.
• Own and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close and coordinate implementation.
• Collaborate with implementation, payroll, benefits, HR, compliance, and operations teams for smooth onboarding.
• Stay informed on industry trends and client feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
• Maintain accurate activity in CRM and forecast revenue and next steps.
