Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID seeks a Principal Engineer for the HBM New Product Validation team.

You will lead validation strategy, drive readiness for future-generation HBM products, and guide investigations from pre-silicon to post-silicon characterization. You will collaborate across Design Engineering, Design Validation, Product Engineering and Systems teams, leveraging AI-enabled validation to improve efficiency, quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of semiconductor proven experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon DRAM/HBM debugging.
• Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, Python, Linux environments and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture-aware validation strategies and coverage direction for future-generation HBM products.
• Drive validation readiness for next-generation products with test environments and execution plans.
• Evaluate new DRAM/HBM features and define validation requirements and testability needs.
• Develop validation strategies for new/high-risk features and promote reuse across generations.
• Lead investigations of architecture, building, and silicon issues from pre-silicon to post-silicon.
