Job summary

Micron Technology seeks an HBM Product Yield Enhancement PDFA Engineer to drive reliability and failure analysis from design through production ramp. You will apply electrical, physical, and statistical techniques with AI-enabled data analysis to identify failure mechanisms and improve product performance.

The role requires collaboration with Product, Process, Quality, and Test Engineering teams and strong communication of findings for qualification and ramp processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field related to semiconductors.
• Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, manufacturing, or VLSI design.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data-driven problem solving.
• Proficiency using Python or similar languages for data analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex technical data and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, physical, and statistical failure analysis to identify failure mechanisms.
• Analyze characterization and manufacturing data to determine root causes of failures.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to resolve yield and reliability issues.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and statistics to evaluate large datasets and drive improvements.
• Communicate findings and risk assessments to partners to support qualification and ramp.
