Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety‑conscious team. The role will be active in the field performing hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

This position requires attending a paid two‑week Academy training (possibly out of state). We offer competitive pay ranging from $19.50 to $21.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Willingness to be on‑call for emergency response and possible weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies and acting safely.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and power tools; handle vibration-producing tools.
• Wear and properly use PPE, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Handle hazardous materials and conduct waste handling in compliance with regulations.
• Assist in field sampling and meter calibration tasks.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding; work from trucks, tanks, and containers.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis; support site remediation.
