Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Field Services Technician II to join our safety-conscious team in field hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination. The role includes on-call emergency response on a rotating basis and a two-week paid Academy training (out of state at times).

Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety, operating equipment, handling PPE, working in varied temperatures, and performing waste sampling and regulatory

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications include reliable transportation and ability to perform physical functions.
• On-call emergency response is a continuing condition of employment; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and medical physical.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies and work safely at all times.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand tools and PPE.
• Work outdoors in all weather and in environments with hazardous materials.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters, climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis and participate in site remediation.
