Job summary

Clean Harbors in Millington, TN is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

New hires attend a paid two-week Academy training; it could be out of state, with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job duties.
• Willingness to be on-call for emergency response; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Background check, drug test and physical may be required; OSHA respirator standards apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety as the top priority and follow all policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate various tools and equipment.
• Wear PPE and work in diverse environments and weather.
• Assist in field sampling, calibration of meters, and waste handling.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
