Job summary

Training Academy is paid and out-of-state; travel expenses are covered and per diem provided. A strong safety focus and compliance with OSHA standards are essential for success in this field.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• Position involves emergency response; on-call duties may include weekends/holidays and long hours (8–24 hrs).
• Complete background check, drug test, and medical exam as required by position.
• Respiratory protection standards apply; facial hair policies may be required for respirator use.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health and Safety as the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand/power tools.
• Wear and use PPE correctly, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in diverse temperatures and weather conditions, indoors or outdoors.
• Handle hazardous materials and waste in accordance with regulations.
• Assist in field sampling and meter calibration.
• Climb ladders and scaffolding; access tanks and containers.
• Participate in extended shifts (>8 hours) and on-call rotations.
