Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Savannah, GA seeks a Field Services Technician II to support hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials. The role involves field duties, heavy lifting, and temporary travel for training and emergencies.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing sampling, and adhering to PPE and safety protocols, with on-call emergency response on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to perform physical labor and meet job requirements.
• On-call for emergency response; may work weekends/holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and medical evaluation may be required by position.
• Compliance with OSHA Respiratory Protection standards (facial hair rules).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety following company policies.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools.
• Wear appropriate PPE and respirators as required.
• Work in varied temperatures and potentially hazardous environments.
• Assist in field sampling, calibration of meters, and waste handling.
• Participate in emergency response activities and site remediation as needed.
