Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety-conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for tasks related to hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

The position includes travel requirements, a two-week training academy, and per diem coverage. The company provides comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, plus a 401(k) with company match and tuition

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response potential; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required.
• Comply with respirator standards as per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Follow Health and Safety policies as the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and operate various tools and equipment.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Perform field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Work in varied temperatures and environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Be on-call for emergency response on rotating basis.
• Safely load/unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
