Job summary

Perdue Farms in Concord, NC invites applications for the Engineering Management Trainee (Pathways) Program starting June 2027. This 24-month leadership development track blends hands-on plant operations exposure with engineering project work and mentorship to prepare you for an engineering leadership role.

During EMT I, you rotate across operations and engineering, learn safety and project management, then advance to EMT II with increased responsibility and potential placement as an Associate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum GPA 3.0; eligible for June 2027 cohort.
• Willingness to travel and relocate for rotations and career opportunities.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in structured rotations across operating, support, and engineering areas.
• Learn safety, quality, and environmental compliance while working with leaders.
• Support daily engineering and project activities; assist with project schedules and documentation.
• Develop leadership capabilities through mentorship, cohort learning, and targeted development.
