Job summary

WorkForce Software, an ADP company, is seeking a Hardware Specialist to deliver hardware support, repairs, and deployment for data collection devices in our Livonia, MI office. You will work across Sales, Support, Services, and Development to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing training to stay current with hardware technologies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work full-time in the Livonia, MI office (Monday–Friday).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and productivity tools.
• Analytical problem-solving and ability to troubleshoot hardware issues.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and support hardware and software for data collection devices.
• Manage hardware repair and replacement, inventory tracking, shipping/receiving, PO creation, billing support, and inventory reconciliation in NetSuite.
• Configure Workforce Terminals and related system components to meet business requirements.
• Test and validate customer hardware and badge functionality; document results and communicate status to customers and leadership.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to improve product performance and support successful implementations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation; develop basic SQL queries; maintain certifications through training.
