Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector in Columbia, Maryland seeks a Hardware Technician II to provide on-site and remote Tier 2/3 support for a wide range of IT hardware and infrastructure, ensuring uptime and secure connectivity.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 8570 Certification (Security+ preferred), and 3–5 years of IT experience. A high school diploma is required and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of relevant IT experience.
• 8570 Certification; Security+ is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 2 and 3 support for workstations, servers, printers, peripherals and teleconferencing equipment on-site and remotely.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare documentation with diagrams and configuration changes.
• Analyze hardware needs, develop procurement specs and schedules for deployments.
• Install and configure new hardware and cabling; train site personnel.
