Job summary

AT&T Columbia, MD is seeking an IT Field Support Specialist to deliver Tier 2/3 on-site and remote support for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing equipment at a government client site.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and a minimum 3–5 years of IT experience, with office-based responsibilities anticipated five days per week in Columbia, MD. Attractive benefits are included.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of IT experience.
8570 certification; Security+ preferred.
Proficient in Windows OS, Office applications, and AD security.

Responsibilities

Advanced technical support: Tier 2/3 for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing on-site and remotely.
Site surveys and documentation: capture configurations and requirements with diagrams.
Hardware acquisition and installation: prepare specs and schedules for deployments.
Project support and reporting: install, test, and document site work and upgrades.
Custom cabling and integration for site needs.
Training and user enablement of hardware and services.
Maintenance of fiber, modems, cables, and telephone systems.
Operate with SOPs and ticketing systems for ITSM.
End-user support and collaboration with teams and vendors.
