Cisco Systems, Inc. in Raleigh, North Carolina, seeks a Hardware Security Technical Leader to join the HW-CSDL team within the Security & Trust Organization. You will bridge security assessments and hardware design, guiding engineering teams toward secure, compliant implementations.

The role requires deep hardware design knowledge, low-level architecture expertise, and mastery of security principles, with strong communication across functions and autonomous management of multiple initiatives.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading security initiatives and mentoring engineers as a technical leader.
• Background in hardware development (schematics, PCB layouts, or hardware docs).
• Background in hardware security fundamentals (RoT, Secure Boot, crypto primitives, secure key storage).

Responsabilidades

• Partner with product hardware teams to analyze hardware security evaluation results and provide actionable design guidance for HW-CSDL compliance.
• Deconstruct hardware architectures from system level to components to identify vulnerabilities and resilience.
• Interpret and apply industry/government standards into technical guidance and requirements.
• Create high-quality security requirements, reference architectures, and implementation guides for engineering audiences.
• Lead multiple parallel engagements and security initiatives with a high level of autonomy.
• Educate hardware design communities to foster a security-first culture in the product lifecycle.
