Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned hardware security professional to join the Security & Trust Organization in a hybrid role based in Raleigh, NC. You will partner with hardware teams to translate security standards into design requirements and guide architecture across complex systems.

You will analyze system-to-board and component-level designs, interpret evolving standards, and author practical security guidance for engineers while balancing multiple engagements across product families.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years hardware design experience.
• Experience reading schematics, block diagrams, datasheets, PCB design or hardware documentation.
• Background in hardware security fundamentals (RoT, Secure Boot, crypto primitives, secure key storage).

Responsabilidades

• Provide security guidance to product hardware teams to achieve HW-CSDL compliance.
• Deconstruct hardware architectures to identify vulnerabilities and improve resilience.
• Interpret standards like NIST SP 800-193, CNSA 2.0, EU Cyber Resilience Act into design requirements.
• Author security guidelines and reference architectures for engineering audiences.
• Lead multiple engagements across product families.
• Educate hardware design communities to foster a security-first culture.
