Cisco is seeking a Hardware Security Technical Leader to join the HW-CSDL team in a hybrid Raleigh, NC role. You will guide hardware engineering teams on security evaluations, interpret standards, and translate complex requirements into practical designs with strong collaboration across disciplines.

Applicants should have deep hardware design expertise, low-level architecture knowledge, and a track record mentoring engineers in security disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading security initiatives and mentoring engineers as a technical leader.
• Background in hardware development (reading schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets).
• Background in hardware security fundamentals (RoT, Secure Boot, crypto primitives, key storage).

Aufgaben

• Provide actionable design guidance to hardware teams to achieve HW-CSDL compliance.
• Review hardware architectures from system to components to identify vulnerabilities and resilience.
• Interpret and apply standards (NIST SP 800-193, CNSA 2.0, EU CRA, IEEE 2883).
• Create security requirements, reference architectures, guides for engineering audiences.
• Lead multiple security initiatives across product families with autonomy.
• Educate hardware design communities to foster security-first culture.
