Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced hardware security professional to join the Security & Trust Organization (S&TO) HW-CSDL team in Raleigh.

This hybrid role bridges security assessments with hardware design, advising product teams, interpreting standards, and guiding secure implementations across Cisco hardware. You will review system-level architectures, craft security guidelines, and implement reference architectures to support engineers across Cisco.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a technical field with relevant hardware design experience.
• Background in hardware security fundamentals and secure boot concepts.
• Ability to translate standards into practical engineering requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance to hardware teams to achieve HW-CSDL compliance.
• Analyze system-to-board-level architectures to identify vulnerabilities and reinforce resilience.
