The position partners with hardware teams to translate security evaluations into robust hardware designs and HW-CSDL compliance, bridging security and engineering across multiple projects. The ideal candidate has deep experience in hardware design, low-level architecture, and security principles, and can communicate complex concepts through clear documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field; strong background required.
• Experience leading security initiatives and mentoring engineers as a technical leader.
• Background in hardware development (reading schematics, PCB layouts, datasheets).
• Knowledge of hardware security fundamentals (RoT, Secure Boot, cryptographic primitives, secure key storage).

Responsibilities

• Provide security consulting and mentorship to hardware teams for HW-CSDL compliance.
• Perform system-to-component analysis of hardware architectures to identify vulnerabilities.
• Interpret and apply industry standards (NIST SP 800-193, CNSA 2.0, EU Cyber Resilience Act) into design requirements.
• Author security requirements, reference architectures and implementation guides.
• Lead multiple engagements across product families with autonomy.
• Educate hardware design communities to foster a security-first culture.
