Mounds View Public Schools in Minnesota seeks a Computer Repair Technician to service and repair district hardware, image devices, and deploy equipment across sites. This full-time role starts ASAP with a pay range of $27.01–$36.46 per hour, depending on qualifications, and includes medical, dental, life insurance, and other benefits under the Non-Affiliated Handbook.

Requirements include one year of specialized or technical training beyond high school and three years of hands-on computer repair

Qualifications

• One year of specialized or technical training beyond high school.
• 3 years of experience in computer or similar technical troubleshooting and repair.
• CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
• Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair desktop computers, displays, laptops, Chromebooks, charging carts and stations.
• Image or re-image computers as repair procedures require.
• Determine if symptoms are hardware or software and resolve.
• Research repair issues and determine best solutions for new hardware failures.
• Source parts and maintain inventory and repair records.
• Process RMA for warranty repairs and related procedures.
• Image desktops and laptops for deployment.
• Work in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Active Directory Users and Computers.
• Support district technology – iOS devices, Chrome, Windows, and SMART and other interactive technologies.
