Job summary

Minnesota Diversified Industries is seeking a Computer Technician to test, refurbish, and repair laptops and electronics in a team setting within a warehouse environment. The role supports sustainable refurbishment for retail and wholesale customers and may involve training colleagues in our Work Readiness program.

The ideal candidate has hands-on laptop repair experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting/repairing laptops; refurbishing in a production role strongly preferred.
• Ability to learn and expand knowledge of repair items and perform quality repair services.
• Flexible in work; willing to assist in other areas as needed.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Able to qualify as a NAID Access employee, including drug test, written test, 7 years of employment history verification, and background check with no theft convictions in 7 years.
• Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Test and refurbish laptops and electronics; replace parts as needed.
• Maintain workflow to meet daily goals.
• Sort incoming laptops per department lead's direction.
• Communicate needs clearly to the department lead.
• Identify resalable parts and move them to the correct resale channel.
• Keep area organized and tools accessible; label inventory properly.
• Input laptop descriptions into inventory sheets with correct labeling.
• Clean workspace and store tools after use.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
