Clark Construction Group is seeking a Project Engineer to manage technical and engineering aspects of our projects. You will coordinate with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects, and our team to ensure accuracy, resources, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

You will assist scheduling, submittals, and cost estimates, while leading planning efforts and closeout activities. The role requires on-site work at active job sites and intense teamwork across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 2+ years' experience as a project engineer or in a similar construction role.
• Demonstrated ability reading drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Office and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Project Managers in purchasing, scoping, and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals in compliance with plans/specs.
• Support development and updating of project schedules and subcontractor schedules.
• Lead project planning efforts and develop/advise on project plans.
• Monitor material deliveries and align with the project schedule.
• Review change proposals and negotiate with trade partners.
• Coordinate drawings with Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Draft change orders and solicit subcontractor pricing; estimate costs.
• Lead project closeout, assemble manuals, and prepare final payment docs.
• Develop and lead training sessions for team and trade partners.
• Cultivate industry relationships to bring opportunities and recruit talent.
