Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks a Project Engineer to join our project team and oversee all technical and engineering aspects of the project.

You will lead daily coordination with clients, trade partners, engineers, architects and our staff, planning, scheduling, predicting, and managing tasks to ensure accuracy, resources, and quality throughout the lifecycle.

This hands-on role requires readiness for active job sites, strong communication, and a commitment to Clark's standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in an engineer, project engineer, or a similar role in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and general project administration.
• Ability reading drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest and passion for building and the industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals; ensure compliance with plans/specs.
• Support development and updating of project schedules and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead development of project plans; monitor material deliveries.
• Review change proposals from trade partners and negotiate as appropriate.
• Coordinate drawings with Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Draft change orders; solicit prices; perform take-offs and costs.
• Lead project close-out activities and turnover documents.
• Develop and lead training sessions for the team and trade partners.
• Cultivate industry relationships to bring opportunities to Clark leadership.
