Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work maintaining the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas. You will handle work orders, preventive maintenance, and make-ready processes for vacant units, while ensuring safety and code compliance.

The role involves inventory management, proper documentation, and collaboration with vendors. Strong attention to safety practices and the ability to travel may be required, with on-site housing

Qualifications

• Perform service requests and preventive maintenance on property fixtures according to policies and safety standards.
• Prepare vacant apartments via make-ready process including inspections and punch lists.
• Manage materials and inventory, reordering as needed.
• Complete documentation for tracking service requests.
• Assist with grounds, cleaning, and amenities upkeep.
• Assist cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
• Attend safety meetings and OSHA training as required.
• Inspect contractor work for quality and compliance.
