Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year retail or related experience preferred.
• Meat Cutter or Apprentice experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Detail oriented and accurate with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Cut and weigh meats for individual servings.
• Produce value-added products per guidelines.
• Cut, trim, and bone carcass sections to cooking cuts.
• Follow recipes to grind and tray meats and make sausage.
• Price, date, wrap and bag meat products per guidelines.
