Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Georgia seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations across service bays, front counter, and back office. You will support the Store Manager, coach technicians and advisors, and help ensure fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean environment.

The role requires strong communication, a can-do attitude, and the ability to handle cash and POS processes. Weekend availability and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE certification or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations; step in for the Store Manager when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors.
• Schedule team coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures and POS.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting company values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell based on guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally; escalate when needed.
• Manage opening/closing, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as directed.
• Ensure shop and customer areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs.
