Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive seeks an Assistant Manager in Georgia to support the Store Manager in leading daily operations across the service bay, front counter, and back office. You will coach technicians and advisors, oversee scheduling, and uphold Brand standards while delivering fast, friendly, high-quality automotive service.

The role is hands-on, development-focused, and requires strong communication, cash handling, and customer-service skills with weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership roles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment between service bay, front counter, and back office.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred ASE certifications or willingness to obtain per brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to ensure quality service.
• Assist with staff scheduling to cover peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment reflecting Brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and safety, monitor inventory, and manage cash and POS transactions.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPI performance.
