Job summary

FullSpeedAutomotive is seeking an Assistant Manager in Kennesaw, GA to support the Store Manager and lead day-to-day operations across service bay, front counter, and back office.

This hands-on role focuses on coaching technicians and advisors, delivering fast, high-quality service, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. The position includes vibrant customer interactions and store leadership development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling team members to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and busy seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
