Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager in Georgia to support Store Manager, supervise daily operations, and lead a team delivering fast, high-quality automotive service. The role involves hands-on work across service bay, front counter, and back office with emphasis on safety and customer experience.

You will coach staff, manage scheduling, train new hires, and promote a positive work environment aligned with our values. Flexible hours including weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred ASE certification or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, stepping in to lead in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling team members to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and drive repeat business through excellent service.
• Assist with closing/opening procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Ensure the shop and customer areas are clean, organized, and safe.
