Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive in Georgia is hiring an Assistant Manager who splits time between the service bay, the front counter, and the back office to help run a fast, safe, high‑quality location.

In this hands-on role you will coach technicians and service advisors, schedule coverage during peak times, greet customers, explain services, and promote manufacturer guidelines while maintaining brand standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations, stepping in for the Store Manager when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to maintain high service standards.
• Assist with scheduling to cover peak hours and busy seasons.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote manufacturer guidelines.
• Support store and shop operations: cash handling, POS, inventory, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to help the team meet goals.
