Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations across service bay, front counter, and back office. You will lead teams, coach technicians and advisors, handle scheduling, onboarding, and customer care to ensure fast, quality service and a safe, clean store.

This hands-on role is a key step toward store leadership. The position requires effective communication, cash handling, and flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the store.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures and POS systems.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional services per guidelines.
• Support daily store operations, including cash handling and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering.
