Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in quick-lube, automotive service, or a related industry.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance services (oil changes, fluid checks, filters, etc.).
• Experience supervising or training team members in a retail or service environment.
• ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervisor daily operations in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Help onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and promote additional offerings to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders as directed by the Store Manager.
• Ensure shop and customer areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
• Track daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to keep the team focused on goals.
