Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager to support store leadership across the service bay, front counter, and back office. This hands-on role splits time between operations, coaching technicians and service advisors, and delivering fast, friendly automotive service while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in a retail or automotive leadership role, strong communication, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations, stepping in to cover the store in the manager's absence.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Assist with scheduling team members to ensure proper coverage during peak hours.
• Onboard and train new team members on service procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that reflects brand values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and drive upsell based on guidelines.
• Maintain store and shop cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Manage daily sales, productivity, and KPIs to stay aligned with goals.
