Job summary

FullSpeed Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager who will split time between the service bay, front counter, and back office to support daily operations and lead a team. You’ll coach technicians and service advisors, manage schedules, and ensure fast, high-quality automotive service in a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a retail, automotive service, or customer-facing leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment that includes time in the service bay.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills; comfortable using point-of-sale and inventory systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: ASE certification(s) or willingness to obtain certifications as required by brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Coach, train, and motivate technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality service.
• Schedule team coverage during peak hours and seasons.
• Onboard and train new team members on procedures and POS systems.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment reflecting company values.
• Greet customers, explain services, and upsell based on manufacturer guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and escalate when needed.
• Assist with store operations, inventory, and cash handling.
• Support safety protocols and compliance with brand standards.
